A drumstick that I received at a Pantera concert (Cowboys From Hell tour) many years ago. There I was, moshing away, when I get hit in the face really hard by an unknown object. Vinnie Paul, the drummer, had tossed out his drumsticks, and since I wasn’t paying attention… smack! Nearly broke my glasses. I looked down to see the stick, which I snatched up right away.

Metallica at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa for their World Magnetic tour. Ottawa was the last Canadian date on the tour, which has only 10 more shows in the US before it wraps up. You can download an audio copy of the show from the MetallicaLive website. It was an amazing concert, probably 2nd best Metallica show that I’ve seen.
